ABACUS:

This was the first computer launched in between 300 to 500BC. There is no confirm who invent the abacus computer. It was used for arithmetic calculation(addition and subtraction).


It was travel many places like (Japan, Chinese, Egypt and other places) after that it modify and work better every time. It is used to boost the mind of children's.

It is made up of wood and beads for calculation.

TYPES OF ABACUS:

·         DUST ABACUS
·         LINE ABACUS
·         GROOVED ABACUS
·         ANCIENT CHINESE ABACUS
·         SOROBAN JAPANESE ABACUS

NAPIER'S BONES:

It was launched by john Napier in 1617 in Edinburgh.

This is also used for arithmetic calculation but in this multiplication and division are added.

Multiplication can be reduced to addition and division to subtraction.

PASCALINE:


It was launched by a French mathematician-philosopher biaise pascal in between 1642 and 1644.

It was also calculate the arithmetic only(addition and subtraction), but it was the first mechanical and automatic calculator machine.

STEPPED RECKON ER OR LEIBNIZ WHEEL:


It was launched by German mathematician-philospher Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz in 1673.
It was the first digital computer.

DIFFERENCE ENGINE

This engine was created by Charles babbage in the early of 1820
This engine work on mathematics to solving the algorithms problems.

ANALYTICAL ENGINE

This engine also launched by Charles Babbage in 1830.
In this engine it can perform to solving any mathematical problem and store the information in memory for permanent.

TABULATING MACHINE

This machine was created by an American statistician, Herman Hollerith in 1890.
This machine was used for business application and accountancy.

DIFFERENTIAL Analyzer

This is an analog device invented by Vannevar buss in United States 1930.
This is used to solve the differential equation and at that time this was the first most advanced electronic computer.
